Butty Bach

Brewery: Wye Valley, Herefordshire, UK

ABV: 4.5%

Bottle Size: 500ml

Taste:

Very subtle citrus and floral tones, with underling flavours of roasted hops and grass.

Colour:

Light golden colour with a smooth white foam head.

Aroma:

Light floral scents, with hints of hops and grass.

Final Verdict:

Butty Bach meaning ‘little friend’ in Welsh, is a very pleasant, smooth and crisp ale.

Butty bach tastes more like a smooth lager than an Ale. I found this very easy to drink and could have gone back for more once finished.

This ale may not be for hard ale drinkers, but to me this was a nice little tipple.
