Sayzon was not what I was expecting, the amount of carbonation was over the top.
When I first tasted this is was like trying sherbert for the first time due to the amount my mouth was fizzing.
Once the fizz had dissipated the citrus and ginger flavours shone through, the later being the dominant taste.
There is a slight peppery spice to the bitter aftertaste which doesn’t hang about, but this is balanced very well.
I feel Sayzon is a different beer than most things I have tried, due it’s unique flavourings and simple branding.
I feel the only thing that’s let’s this enjoyable drink down is the over carbonation, if this had a little less fizz it has the potential to be up there with the best.
