Brewery: The Booth Brewing
Bottle Size: 330ml
Taste:Strong malty flavours with a slight sweetness
Aroma:Hoppy with a citric tinge
I received a box of various Asian beers as a gift and was excited to be able to try some. The first of the Asian reviews is of this red ale from The Booth Brewing Co., in Korea.
Starting with a smooth pour, and a slight orange-y citric aroma, with a pleasant level of hops, this is a very pleasant beer. The taste is good, balanced malty and hoppy tones with a slightly dry and spicy feel.
All in all, this is a very pleasant beer to drink, but not something which would be in the upper levels of my desired beers. I wouldn’t actively seek it out, which makes it unlikely I’ll have it again, but it’s definitely worth a try if you get the chance.
