Brewery: Harbour Brewing Company
Bottle Size: 500ml
Taste:Clean, refreshing and typical of a pale ale
Colour:Hazy amber, as the name suggests
Aroma:Light, fresh and hoppy
An eagerly awaited tasting Harbour Brewing Company tonight. The brewery from North Cornwall excelled with the last offering I tried, and I was keen to try something else from their range.
I was hoping for a light, refreshing pale ale drink which is slightly more heavily hopped, and that’s exactly what I got.
The ale itself is well balanced with no overpowering flavours or aromas. It’s nothing which I’d crave, but it’s also something which I could happily drink repeatedly.
My experience so far is that Harbour is a textbook brewery, producing excellent beers consistently, without trying to change the world, and that has to be a good thing.
I once heard a quote which I think sums up my experiences with Harbour…
Success is doing the ordinary extraordinarily well
